Incoming mail is automatically scanned for SPAM, which is managed on two levels: Firstly, while the mail is still in the process of being accepted by the Kudos servers, it is scanned to determine if it is definitely SPAM. If it is, it is rejected.
|
Secondly, if the scan does not positively identify the mail as SPAM but suspects that it is,
the prefix {SPAM} is attached to the subject line of the email and delivered to you.
Email can be downloaded using either POP3 or IMAP4 protocols, we support both - If you are unsure what
this means, don't worry! Most people use POP3 with programs such as Outlook Express, Outlook, Euroda or
fetchmail.
If you want email@yourdomain.com but do not need a website at the moment, we can help. We can register
your domain and either direct all mail to an existing email address (a Yahoo! account for example) or
set up a mailbox on the Kudos internet servers.
